Whytespace ltd. is a Sherwood Park-based corporation established in the summer of 2000, and later incorporated in July 2005. The company specializes in: website design and development. We are a focused, flexible, client-driven company, organized into small teams to better control client relations and minimize overhead.

Travis Whyte
Our president, Travis, is a trained educator, and a skilled web designer/developer with over 10 years of experience. Travis is our senior project manager, working closely with all our clients to ensure a smooth development process and a timely delivery of the final product. 

While completing his M.Ed., Travis researched extensively effective web design practices and now specializes in User Interface Design helping clients organize their website in logical and informative manners.
Sarah Whyte
Our director of graphic design, Sarah, is also a trained educator, an accomplished content developer and graphics artist. In addition, Sarah has extensive experience in writing and editing web content for online education programs across Canada.

Joel Pelletier
Our resident graphics and multimedia specialist, Joel, brings a wealth of experience with over 6 years of Flash animation and programming in addition to his keen eye and skill for web-based graphic design.

Jordan McIver
Our senior web developer is Jordan. Jordan is a computer science graduate with over 8 years of web development experience. Jordan is fluent in many web programming languages (HTML, Javascript, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Flash Actionscript) and has database skills in both MS SQL and MySQL. However, above all, it is his keen attitude for learning, that makes Jordan a valuable member of the Whytespace Team.

Angie Melnyk
Angie is an accomplished graphic designer specializing in both print and web mediums. With over 5 years experience in the industry, it is her artistic eye and attention to the finer points that make her a valuable asset to our team.

Carla Reiter
Every good business owner knows that it is really their bookkeeper that keeps the company afloat.  At Whytespace, we are privileged to have our company in the faithful and very capable hands of Carla.  Carla attends weekly to the mountain of mail and accounting needs, making sure all the bills are paid and clients are invoiced.

Whytespace also has an extensive list of sub-contractors to utilize when projects require a specialty not available in-house. Using contractors, helps whytespace maintain a very low overhead ultimately enabling us to pass cost savings on to our clients.

Professional associations 

Whytespace currently holds professional memberships with the Sherwood Park Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International.  Both of these associations have very high standards of excellence and help to validate the quality of Whytespace services.
